Bu barədə Gün.Az Rabitə və İnformasiya Texnologiyaları Nazirliyinin elektron xidmətinə istinadən xəbər verir. İlin əvvəlindən ləğv olunan domenlərin sayı 492, qeydiyyata düşən domenlərin sayı isə 1053-ə bərabərdir. Onların böyük əksəriyyəti “.az” (12596) domeninin payına düşür. Həmçinin 614 “.com.az” domeni qeydiyyatdan keçib. Sonrakı yerlər aşağıdakı kimidir: 1. .pro.az 4 2. .name.az 5 3. .biz.az 14 4. .info.az 21 5. .co.az 29 6. .pp.az 42 7. .int.az 44 8. .net.az 55 9. .org.az 91 10. .edu.az 138 Qeyd edək ki, İnternetdə Adlar və Nömrələr üzrə Qeydiyyat Korporasiyası (İnternet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers, İCANN) 1993-cü ilin avqustunda “.az” domen zonasının Azərbaycan dövlətinə verilməsi haqqında qərar qəbul edib.
